Original Information:
Index card "Wonderfully fine Babylonian baked clay tablet with magnificent cuneifrom inscription translated by Yale University. "7 se gur sam udu ki Lu-kal-la - a-ka, Ur-gu-edin", etc. "7 gur of grain, the price of sheep (received), from Lukalla, the obligations of Ur-Gu-edinna are completed; receipted for by Gududu. The year after Gimil-Din, the King built the western wall." The words Lukalla, Ur-Gu-edinna and Gududu are personal names. The last sentence of the translation is the date line. It correspondes to 2218 BC. Therefore this perfect tablet is 4163 years old. Elder Sale, New York City, June 19, 1936, $8.00"
